On Saturday 8 November 2025, the Modenese Society for Exhibitions, Fairs and Horse Racing Srl presented a preview of Navionix, a very innovative tracking system for racehorses that brings Modena to occupy a place at the forefront of technology in Europe.

The device can measure the position of horses up to 95 times per second, with centimeter accuracy. This is a frequency almost five times higher than market standards, capable of offering new possibilities for analysis and making races more spectacular and engaging.

The creation of the device was made possible by the economic contribution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MASAF) and with the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce through the Digital Voucher Call.

The device was presented during a press conference by President Alessandro Arletti and afterwards, the guests attended a cooking show made by chef Federico Sparma.

For the press conference, we had the honor of having as a guest the President of the Chamber of Commerce Giuseppe Molinari, the Councilor Federica Venturelli. With the participation of representatives of other Italian racecourses.

After that, they saw our new tracking device in action during the first run of the day.

The day ended with the other scheduled races, the last of the 2025 season.
