On November 30th, the Modena Hippodrome hosted an important conference, focused on the reform of the horse racing betting sector. The event, entitled “Reacquiring the Management of Horse Betting: the only hope for the relaunch of horse racing“, brought together the representatives of the horse racing categories of Trot and Gallop, to sign a joint document, to be sent to the MEF.
The purpose of this letter is to indicate a clear way to relaunch the horse racing sector, re-evaluating the issue of betting. In particular, the representatives ask to be involved in the decisive processes on betting, to bring this issue back into the hands of a representative body of the horse racing industry.
The conference, moderated and coordinated by the President of the Modena Society, Dr. Alessandro Arletti, saw illustrious participants, both among the representatives of the equestrian categories and among the institutions of the State.
