Junior Trot Corse Modena

Enrolment is now open for the new Modena trotting course: theoretical and practical training for young people aged between 16 and 20.

First stage: Theory

Trot course Modena is divided in 2 parts, it starts with the theorical one and it will discuss the following topics:

At the end, the students will take a theorical exam, which is an oral interview. Only those who have attended at least the 90% of the total teaching hours can take the exam.

Stage 2 of the course: Practice

Students will be trained in acquiring the manual skills necessary to perform the tasks required when working with horses in complete safety and awareness.

For track sessions, students will receive:

At the end of the course, students will take a practical exam consisting of horse management, cleaning, grooming and harnessing, followed by a light trot around the track in complete autonomy.

Only those who have attended at least 95% of the total teaching hours can take the exam.

Modena Trotting Course: Requirements and conditions for admission

In order to be admitted to the courses, applicants must:

  • be between 16 and 20 years of age;
  • be in possession of a medical certificate of fitness for competitive horse riding – valid for 12 months and renewable until the end of the planned “practical” period – issued by the competent health authorities.

The course is structured in such a way as to guarantee access even to those who have no previous experience.
